    History of Anders Beton

    Anders Beton was founded in 1964 in Hoogstraten. The founder, Korneel “Kees” van der Velden, was a farmer’s son who quickly came up with the innovative idea of producing concrete stable floors. This proved to be a great success and laid the foundation for what would grow into our leading company.

    In 1998, Jan van der Velden, Kees’s son, decided to invest in a new site in Grobbendonk on the Albert Canal. This strategic move made it possible to increase production capacity and improve accessibility .
    ​​​​​​​Our company grew into the market leader in the production of concrete stable floors in Western Europe. In 2017, grandson Dominique van der Velden took over the daily management of the company. His fresh vision and dedication led to further growth and expansion of our activities.

    As of 2026, our company is fully centralized in Grobbendonk, where we have optimized our processes. In recent years, we have significantly broadened our offering. We successfully entered the infrastructure market with our water-permeable paving slabs. In addition, we achieved strong growth in the production of high-voltage cabins.
