On Thursday, June 18, you are warmly invited to the open day at Van Cleef Dairy Farm – Hoeven in Heeswijk-Dinther. Under the theme “Smart farming around the corner”, you will have the chance to explore modern dairy farming in practice, view innovative barn solutions up close, and talk with various present partners, including Anders Beton, between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Smart farming in practice

At the Van Cleef family farm, solutions that reinforce each other are used daily. The dairy farm has been milking automatically for over a year now with four Lely Astronaut A5 milking robots, recently updated to the Lely Astronaut A5 Next. With a rolling annual average of over 12,000 kg of milk, 4.35% fat, and 3.72% protein, the business shows how technology, expertise, and efficiency go hand in hand.

In other areas as well, the family strongly focuses on automation and practical farm comfort. The barn floors have been cleaned for several years by a Lely Discovery, and more recently, feed has been pushed by a Lely Juno. The family also runs an ice cream business, where artisanal ice cream is made with fresh milk from their own farm.
