To realize our growth ambitions, we want to strengthen our production team. For our company GROBETON nv, located at Industrieweg 24, 2280 Grobbendonk, we are looking for a motivated Button Operator who wants to help build our future.

As a Button Operator, you are responsible for the setting and operation of the production machine for concrete elements. You ensure that the production process runs smoothly and that the final products meet our high quality standards.

You enjoy working independently, but also function well as part of a team. Efficiency, accuracy and commitment come naturally to you. You get satisfaction from variety in your tasks and feel at home in a production environment where quality is central.

The position is in day shift/early shift with the possibility of a 2-shift system in the future.

Your responsibilities

Reading and interpreting the production schedule.

Informing the team leader in time about the delivery of new meshes and bars to ensure production continuity.

Adjusting the vibrating tables according to production requirements.

Correctly completing the production sheet and passing information on to the packers.

Carrying out reinforcement checks during production changeovers

Checking the assembly of the molds and correcting errors.

Operating the control panel and directing employees at the vibrating table.

Monitoring the quality of oiling the molds and the correct placement of spacers and reinforcement meshes.

Together with the finisher, placing the reinforcement meshes in the mold.

Leveling the poured concrete in the mold and cleaning up spilled concrete from the floor.

Manually sanding the concrete surface to an even, hole-free result; also checking your team's work.

Ensuring order and cleanliness at the machine and in the work environment, together with your team.

Coordinating the work in case of rejection, as determined by the finisher.

Operating the machine during production and maintenance work.

Resolving minor malfunctions on the vibrating table and pallet lift; immediately notifying the team leader in case of major malfunctions.

Taking initiative during downtime and distributing useful tasks among team members.

Performing additional tasks as assigned by the production team leader.

Your profile

You can work independently and are able to manage a team of about five employees. Experience in a supervisory role within a production environment is a plus.

You work in a structured and efficient manner, and also know how to motivate your team in this.

You are accurate and have an eye for detail; you strive to do tasks well.

You are driven, have a passion for quality and contribute ideas for improvements in the process.

You have a good knowledge of Dutch

You have a technical background, through education or equivalent experience as a technical operator or technician.
